These terms govern your use of RemainWithMe and the memorial pages we build. Please read them before purchasing.
RemainWithMe (“we,” “us”) is a memorial website service based in Charlotte, North Carolina. You can reach us at tim@remainwith.me or (704) 727-6527.
We design and host a memorial website on a custom domain, built from the photos, text, and other materials you provide. Memorials are hand-crafted by our team within 48 hours of our receiving the information needed to build them.
Specific features vary by the package purchased and are described on the relevant product page at the time of purchase.
If a renewal is not paid, we do not take the memorial offline. The memorial remains published at the same address and we absorb the hosting cost; admin editing is paused until the renewal is paid.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If the memorial is not right, we will revise it until it is. If we still cannot get it right, you may request a full refund within 30 days of delivery by emailing tim@remainwith.me.
You keep ownership of everything you give us — photos, video, written memories, and other materials (“Your Content”).
You grant us a limited license to store, adapt, and publish Your Content solely for the purpose of building, hosting, and maintaining your memorial. We do not sell Your Content or use it in advertising without your separate permission.
You confirm that you have the right to provide the materials you send us, and that publishing them does not infringe anyone else’s rights or violate the wishes of a person with superior legal authority over the deceased’s affairs.
You may download a complete archive of your memorial — the page files, photos, and memories — at any time. The custom domain associated with your memorial can be transferred to you on request.
Memorials may allow visitors to submit memories or letters. Submissions are held for your approval before publication. As the memorial owner, you are responsible for what you choose to approve, and you may remove any published memory at any time.
You may not use RemainWithMe to publish unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or infringing material, to impersonate another person, or to create a memorial for a living person without their consent. We may remove content or suspend a memorial that violates these terms.
We work to keep memorials online continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Hosting depends on third-party infrastructure and occasional maintenance or outages may occur.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Because memorials hold irreplaceable material, we strongly encourage you to keep your own copies of original photos and files, and to download an archive of your memorial periodically.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date below. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
