When she died, I went looking for the right place to put her. A frame felt small. A post on Facebook felt smaller. I wanted somewhere her stories could live in one place — the way she lived in our house.
So I built one. Then I built one for somebody else's dog. Then I realized this is what I want to do.

She thought tag was funny — mostly because she knew you could never catch her. One time she got away from me at our apartment complex and made me chase her around the quarter-mile trail circling the pond in the middle of the buildings. Embarrassing and exhausting.

Most pages are finished within seven days of you sending in the photos and stories. If you need it faster — for a service, a birthday, an anniversary — tell me and I'll prioritize it.
It doesn't matter. Patches' page has phone photos, blurry photos, photos taken on a couch fifteen years ago. The page isn't about the photos being good. It's about the dog being remembered.
Most people aren't. You don't write the page — I do. You send me what you remember, in whatever form. Voice notes. Texts. A list of stories. I shape it into the page and send it to you to read before anything goes live.
Each animal gets their own page. Each is $95. They live separately because they were separate — that's the point.
No. Your page has an unlisted URL and is set to be hidden from search engines by default. You decide who sees it by who you share the link with. If you ever want it publicly findable, you can switch that on.
It stays online as long as RemainWithMe runs, which is built to last. There's no subscription, no renewal, no "your memorial is about to expire" email. I won't do that.
Honest answer: I built this to last, but no service runs forever. So you can download a complete archive of your page — the HTML, all the photos, all the memories — at any time. The page belongs to you regardless of what happens to me or the company. That promise is the whole point.
