What we collect, how we use it, and what we will never do with it.
Families trust us with photographs, names, and memories. This page explains exactly what we collect and what we do with it.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are submitted directly to Stripe and we never receive or store your full card number.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell or license memorial photos, stories, or family memories. We do not use memorial content in advertising without asking you first.
We share information only with service providers who help us operate: our web host, Stripe for payments, our email delivery providers, and Google for analytics and advertising measurement. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of others.
A memorial lives at its own web address so it can be shared. Anything published on the memorial — names, photos, stories, approved memories — can be seen by anyone with the link, and may be indexed by search engines. Please consider this when deciding what to include.
We keep memorial content for as long as the memorial is published, which is intended to be indefinitely. We keep order and payment records for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.
You may download a complete archive of your memorial at any time.
To make any of these requests, email tim@remainwith.me.
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Memorials commemorating a child are created by an adult family member.
Memorial pages are served over encrypted connections and access to admin tools is password protected. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to keep your own copies of irreplaceable photos and files.
If we change this policy, the revised version will appear here with an updated date.
